Legendary Canadian singer-songwriter, Grammy winner, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Leonard Cohen, has passed away at age 82. This remarkable musician was a Companion of the Order of Canada, the highest honour in our nation. He left a giant legacy and an extraordinary songbook. He also left big shoes to fill for future Canadian songwriters and plenty of poetic lyrics to meditate on. He will be sorely missed.
We, ViVA, revel in his music, singing his world-famous "Hallelujah," with pride. Thank you Leonard Cohen for your incredible contributions to Canadian culture and to music. You will be remembered always.
